It is my great pleasure to share with you a recent conversation I had with Ashley Keith Pratt. He is the Executive Director, Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Innovation at Melbourne Girls Grammar, 2022 The Educator Magazine Rising Star and the president of the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria.
In addition, he is the Co-Director of the Melbourne Girls Grammar Institute (MGGI) a global educational community hub, dedicated to innovation and leadership in education practices
In our wide-ranging conversation, we talked about
- The importance of conversations around the dinner table and how this impacted his childhood.
- The richness of History and why it tells a story of where we have come from and who we are becoming.
- What we can do as a profession so that there are greater boundaries between home and school?
Ashley was a wonderful guest and he was so generous with his time. I hope you get as much out of this discussion as I did.
