Today I have the great pleasure of sharing a conversation that I recently had with the extraordinary Dr Bernie Moreno, a passionate educator and parent who lectured at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education. Her work centres around school leadership perceptions and its impact on school effectiveness and improvement. She is passionate about leadership identification, development and retention in schools.
We covered a lot of ground in this conversation, and honestly, I could have chartered to her for hours. We talked about the importance of self-reflection, the power of the words we use and why we must take a kaleidoscopic approach to leadership.

Today I have the great pleasure of sharing a recent conversation that I had with the brilliant Dr Adam Fraser. This is the second time that I have spoken with Adam for the podcast and it was a huge privilege to speak with him again. Here is our first discussion.
For those that are not aware, he is a peak performance researcher who helps people strive to achieve better performance in everything they do. He has worked with elite athletes and sporting teams, special forces soldiers and business leaders.

Steven has been a guest on the podcast previously and, among other things, is one of the hosts of The Teacher Takeaway Podcast. Keith is a first-time guest and is a Lecturer in Learning Design at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

It is my great pleasure to introduce you to my next guest, Rydr Tracey. Rydr has worked in education for many years including holding senior positions in school and working at the Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation (or CESE) and now is the Head of Educational Transformation at Creatable Futures. Creatable is founded on a number of key principles including the belief that the best education must be readily accessible and constantly evolving. They are passionate about transferring lessons and ideas from industry to improve teaching and learning and have worked with some of the world’s biggest brands including RM Williams, Meta and Atlassian.
We talked about many things including the difference between data and evidence, cognitive load theory and what being a dad has taught him about active listening.

Today I have the privilege of sharing a recent conversation with Santos Verardo. She now helps district and school leaders develop equity-centred decision-making skills, strong and effective school teams, and systems and structures that enhance their work and the work of their teams.
Santos has spent the last 25 years working as a teacher, administrator, and leadership coach in San Diego. She supports district, school, and teacher leaders navigating challenging and complex educational landscapes as a leadership coach, management consultant and training facilitator.
We talked about many interesting topics including how to build communities, school outcomes vrs. conditions, and how to get crystal clear on your leadership and vision.
Santos also had many interesting insights into handling transition in your life, how to stay passionate and how she now finds fulfilment after she has stepped out of the classroom.
